Bio

Ellinor Kristina Ljungkvist is born in Sweden and is currently based in Berlin where she works as a choreographer and dancer. Ellinor have a Diploma in Ballet and Contemporary Dance | Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance and a Bachelor in Arts | Inter-University Centre for Dance Berlin | Dance, Context and Choreography.

Ellinor have worked throughout her studies with choreographers such as Jana Unmüßig, Jascha Viehstädt, Anna Huber, Anan Atoyama, Maayan Danoch, Anna MacRea and Libby Farr to mention few. Her work has been either collaborations or solo pieces presented at occasions such as HAU3 Berlin, DOCK 11 EDEN Berlin, Tanzquartier Vienna, Uferstudios Berlin, Örebro Art Gallery Sweden, Theatre Skorohod Saint Petersburg, Festival Tanz im August, Tanznacht Berlin, Akademie der Künste Berlin, Kunstraum Pro Arte and Schmiede Media and Art Festival Austria.

In collaboration with the Japanese choreographer Anan Atoyama, founder of the French dance company "AToU", Ellinor got a residence at the Opéra Théatre de Saint Étienne in France. Ellinor have received several scholarships such as Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes Berlin, Goethe-Institut Berlin, Podium 08´ Salzburg Kultur Land, Örebro Cultural Scholarship, Young Money Support, Per Eriksson and Adolf Lindgren Scholarship.
